Pan Intercultural Arts
The Weapon of Choice Theatre Project, supported by the Mayor's Young Londoners Fund, provides a creative, supportive space for 25 young people to express themselves through theatre and the performing arts.
The Weapon of Choice Theatre Project will provide transformative, creative activities for 75 of London’s young people excluded from mainstream schooling or at risk of social exclusion and criminal activity. Weekly drama-based sessions will enable participants to explore routes and behaviours enabling more positive futures.
The Weapon of Choice (WOC) collective is made up of young actors, facilitators, music artists and creatives. Together we produce original theatre, film and performance. The young people we work with have come to us through our Weapon of Choice School Residencies.
This project is supported by the Mayor’s Young Londoners Fund.
The Mayor’s Young Londoners Fund will help children and young people fulfill their potential, particularly those who are at risk of getting caught up in crime. The fund will support a range of education, sport, cultural and other activities for young people aged 10 to 21.
The Young Londoners Fund objective is to provide aspirational and positive activities to empower young people. This will help them to make positive choices and reach their potential.
