As teachers and leaders, we need to look at ways we can increase and embed creative opportunities for learning . Tagtiv8 games & ideas not only provide an enjoyable alternative to classroom based learning, but promote physical activity – crucial when we all face the increasing problem of sedentary lifestyles. Research by Leeds Beckett University demonstrates that our Physically Active Learning (PAL) solutions tackle inactivity & obesity levels . Not only that, Tagtiv8 PAL approaches impact positively on standards and academic performance .
Tagtiv8 are now working with over 65,000 children and teachers across the UK and abroad. Pioneering teachers respect the pedagogy and children love the games. Our PAL approaches engage even the most reluctant of learners. We help children overcome their fear of certain subjects, whether they be Maths, English or in some cases, Sport & PE.
We have been recognised for our pioneering approaches to PAL by:
Tagtiv8 are recognised supporters of ‘This Girl Can’ and ambassadors for ‘Child Friendly Leeds’.
Tagtiv8 resources can be used from Early Years Foundation Stage to Keys Stages 1 and 2. We also work with teachers and children in Key Stage 3 settings and Pupil Referral Units, as well as supporting teachers working with SEND children.
The research led to a request to do a TEDx Talk , which took place in April 2018.
