The StreetVibes School Support Programme aims to inspire, motivate and re-engage pupils with school exclusions/at risk of NEET and to support them to sustain this re-engagement through long-term, personalised mentoring and Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG).
The StreetVibes School Support Programme is FREE – (FUNDED BY THE EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND) – for 14-16 year olds with two recent exclusions (including internal exclusions or managed moves) and/or those at risk of NEET attending schools or resident in Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Bromley or Bexley.
StreetVibes Academy offers robust and inspiring education and training that aims to raise aspirations whilst supporting its students to achieve nationally recognised qualifications including GCSEs. BTECs and NVQs wherever possible. The StreetVibes School Support Programme consists of a 4 week creative engagement course offering vocational tasters (music, film, fashion, construction, sports, hair and beauty) delivered one half day per week on site at your school or one full day at our vocational centres (transport can be provided for groups of 8+ pupils).
Following the vocational taster course, pupils return to school and continue to meet with our mentors at your school once every four to six weeks to provide mentoring support and guidance, set learning goals and address any problems that could impact their progress at school.
StreetVibes would support your pupils for a minimum of two full school terms up to one full year, including IAG support to progress pupils into FE or apprenticeships.
