The CREATE Education Project is committed to assisting schools, teachers, support staff and users in how to effectively use and embed 3D printing technology in the curriculum. This will help maximise investment in technology and improve student outcomes. As part of this commitment, teachers can also gain CPD as we offer a range of professional development options and resources.
CREATE also provide 3D Printing Careers Resources available to download, to inspire students and educate them about career options.
3D printing and additive manufacturing technology have opened a wealth of new career options for students interested in working with this manufacturing technology. Many of which didn’t exist 5 years ago, the impact of 3D printing is even seen across more traditional career paths such as medicine, law, architecture, and fashion as well as the engineering, automotive and construction industries. To take advantage of these potential future careers, students first of all need to be aware of where 3D printing is used, it’s applications and the potential careers opportunities.
