I am really pleased to let you know that we have updated our award winning prevention platform and re-launched it today as ‘Ask AVA’.
The original platform was developed after several years of research into what works in violence against women and gilrs prevention work. We evaluated work taking place around the UK in a variety of schools and non-formal education settings. Schools clearly told us that they wanted one place where there could get up to date information, training, resources and best practice and so we created the platform. It is used widely across the country as well as by the Met Police Safer Schools Officers. We have won two awards and it has been named as the VAWG sectors official platform for prevention work.
